I was recently on a flight from St. Louis, and the businessman that was sitting next to me was reading a book titled Wikipedia Econonics (or something of that sort).  Anyways, he called his boss and was telling him about the book and he told him an amazing statistic from the book…  a blog is created every SECOND!   Well, here is mine… my very first blog!  Many, many thanks to Rebekah who has held my hand through the process and been very patient with me!

I think it is important to tell you why I have started this blog.  I pondered this question as well…  I believe that the value proposition of a Realtor is changing.  You have so much information at your fingertips, what you can find in 10 minutes on the internet would have taken only a professional a short time ago.  This trend will continue and probably accelerate.  That means that the role of the agent needs to change.  It’s no longer about gathering information, we all know how to collect it…it’s making sense of what we collect.

This is where the blog fits in.  What I am posting on my blog is a less intrusive version of what I do for my clients:  Piece together careful analysis regarding trends in the marketplace and how those trends apply to particular properties or neighborhoods.  If you like the blog, think of it as a sample of the level of service quality you can expect from me as an agent.

I am looking forward to the blogs and podcasts ahead…stay tuned!
